Julianne Davies is an avid choreographer and instructor of many dance forms and has performed and presented her works nationally and internationally. She has been a part of the dance scene for many years, studying tap, ballet, hip hop, W. African, Latin, and jazz. Julianne has studied in many areas of the world including Austria, Germany, Los Angeles, and our beautiful Pacific Northwest. Julianne is presently choreographing for the High Steppers dance team in Spanaway, WA. She also teaches hip hop, jazz, tap, West African, Latin, and ballet at Ninth Avenue School of Dance, as well as hip hop and West African at Kirkland Dance Center. She often substitutes for needed instructors at dance studios in the area.

Julianne has choreographed for venues such as Barbizon Talent Search in New York City, Bezirkfestwochen in Vienna Austria, and musicals such as Once Upon A Mattress, There’s No Business Like Show Business, and Myths Legends Fairytales. Julianne has taught dance in a wide variety of places including Blue Heron Arts on Vashon Island, 24 Hour Fitness in Bellevue, Dance Workshop II in Friday Harbor, and Fusion Dance Studios in Seattle. She has performed in multiple shows and tours including KinderKlang tour in Vienna Austria, Yakima School District tour in Yakima, Microsoft Christmas Party in Seattle, and a Fusion Dance Company guest performance in Ashland Oregon.

Julianne started Impulse Dance Company in June of 2003. Since its beginning, she has choreographed for festivals, tours, professional showcases, and guest appearances. She has also performed works in Washington, as well as Hawaii, Gulf Islands, San Diego, and Los Angeles. Impulse has been an amazing experience for her. "I am really excited to continue to direct such a wonderful group of dancers. We have really come a long way and I am truly proud of every one who has been a part of IDC. Go team go!"

Julianne plans to continue teaching, coaching, choreographing, and performing, while eventually opening up a studio of her own. She is looking forward to watching the great things to come with Impulse Dance Company. We've got great talent, awesome dances, and now we’re ready to work it!”

Marizen Agno

Marizen Agno has been dancing since she was two years old. At the age of seven, she started performing cultural dances for her school and community in the Philippines. She moved to the U.S. when she was ten and received jazz training at the Tri-City Academy of Ballet. Marizen continued dancing and competing as part of her high school dance team where she became captain in her sophomore year. In college, she continued performing with the Filipino dance troupe at the University of Washington. Last year, she joined Smooth Elements, a dance team in the Seattle area. She currently works as a nurse at a kidney dialysis center. In her free time, she loves to dance hip hop, salsa and belly dancing. As a new member of Impulse Dance Company, she is extremely excited to continue and share her passion for dancing.

Katie Boulanger

Katie is originally from the Boston area and now resides in Everett, Washington. She has been dancing for 14 years and competing for 13. She's performed in big cities such as NYC, Boston, Providence, Los Angeles and has received a scholarship for a production and classes in Las Vegas in 2001.

Currently Katie is a member on Jackson High School dance team for the forth year and a new member to Kontagious. Jackson High School's dance team is defending state competitors in Hip-hop and production divisions. Kontagious performs in different places in the Puget Sound area about twice a month. She was also a guest performer for Static, which she performed at the Seahawks halftime show on January 2nd. Katie also takes classes at Westlake Dance Center and substitutes dance classes at Dance Elite in Everett.

Kelly Charlton, aka Kel P, brings 24 years of experience to Impulse Dance Company. As a member of The Moving Company and Fusion Dance Troupe she performed modern, tap, African and lyrical works around the Northwest. For the past 10 years she has taught at studios and colleges throughout the Puget Sound, receiving national choreography awards for her modern and hip hop works.

In 2000 she created S-Funk, a teen hip hop and street tap company, by bringing together current and former students who shared her passion for pure performance. 2005 will mark Kelly's fifth year at the Dancentre, personally and professionally the most rewarding teaching position she's known.

    Sarah Lofgren

Originally from Washington, Sarah Lofgren returned after completing her BFA in dance at Chapman University in Orange, California. After working with a number of inspirational instructors and choreographers, including Sean Greene, Jennifer Backhaus-McIvor, Cyrus Parker-Jeanette, Nancy Dickson Lewis, Tiffany Billings, and Dale Merrill, Sarah graduated magna cum laude with departmental honors in 2003. Currently she is teaching jazz and lyrical at Woodinville Dance Academy. She is also a member of It’s a Mystery, Inc., a theater company that stages murder mysteries for the Spirit of Washington Dinner Train.

Outside of dance, Sarah takes pleasure in digital photography, graphic design, and writing. She is very excited to become a new member of Impulse Dance Company!

Ericka Olson has been dancing since she was 9 years old. She has studied jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, modern, hip-hop, and yoga. While in high school she competed in many competitions including L.A.D.F., Showstoppers, and Spotlight. She received first and second place awards for jazz solos. When she was a sophomore in high school she traveled to Disney World to perform two jazz dances with her performing group. She was also a cheerleader.

Ericka has lived in Seattle for five years now. While here she graduated from Cornish with a BFA in dance. While at Cornish she worked with many of Seattle's leading modern choreographers including Wade Madsen, Michele Miller, Deborah Wolf, and Amii LeGendre. She is now traveling to L.A., New York, and Las Vegas, auditioning for multiple venues.

Rebecca Reymore

Rebecca Reymore has loved dancing for as long as she can remember. Whether it was ballet as a little girl or hip hop in high school she has been dancing her life away. Rebecca was a member of Holy Names Academy hip hop dance team for three years and served as captain her senior year. As an active dancer Rebecca has taken several classes around the Seattle area and looks forward to improving in West African and learning more jazz as well. !

She is currently a sophomore at the University of Washington and an active member of her sorority. She couldn't be more proud of being a part of Impulse Dance Company and looks forward to all the dancing to come

Beth Ringland has been dancing since she was five years old. She grew up dancing and competing in southern and northern California and in 2001 graduated from UC Irvine with a BA in dance.

She has studied tap, jazz, ballet/pointe, modern, Pilates, hip hop, and swing dancing. Growing up she competed and won awards at Showstoppers, Showbiz, Rhee Gold, Rainbow, LADF, California State Talent Competition, Exchange Club and various fairs. In high school she danced with her studio for several charity and special events such as, Miss California, Oakland Ballet’s Nutcracker, The Kiwanis Club, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Disneyland, and the Masonic Home.

At UC, Irvine Beth was selected to be a part of the NY Satellite program. It is a musical theater program where she and twenty five other students live in New York and study dancing, singing, acting, and acting on TV while learning how to go to auditions. After graduation Beth moved to the Seattle area in 2001 and began dancing with the tap company Tap Crackers. She has also taught tap and jazz at three local studios for the last two years. Currently she is working for a local trucking company doing billing and attending Bellevue Community College to get some extra credits.

Beth is excited to be a part of IDC and can’t wait to get on stage and just dance!

Priscila Serrano Priscila Serrano started dancing at age six. She initiated her dance training at the Conservatory of Arts in Ecuador where she received Ballet training and performed at their annual recital for four years. At age ten she was part of a performing group at her school which emphasized cultural dances, since then Latin dancing became her favorite. Her love for dancing made her form a group in High School which performed and had fun doing and learning different styles of Latin dancing.

Ever since she's been in the United States from her home town Ecuador she has taken classes in different schools such as Arthur Murray and Broadway Dance Center. For the past three years she has been attending Ninth Avenue School of Dance which is also the time she has been in Washington. Her training consists of Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, African, and Latin Jazz. She has performed at Ninth Avenue's recitals and their production of the Nutcracker. She is currently a part of Aria Dance Company and she is also attending Highline Community College to earn her Associates Degree. She is extremely excited to be a part of Impulse and to work hard. With all this new excitement, she can't wait to really work it on stage!

Kelsey began dancing when she was 6 years old. She is presently a student at Todd Beamer highschool and is on the dance team there. Kelsey is in the studio every chance she can get, working on all different kinds of dance styles. She has been in many performances with Impulse Dance Company and loves everyone in the group!

Kelsey is trained in many areas of dance including hip hop, jazz, W. African, Latin and Cuban. When Kelsey is done with high school, she hopes to continue her professional dancing career and become a back-up dancer or choreographer. Kelsey is very happy to be a part of Impulse Dance Company.

Eddie Washington

Eddie Washington began dancing as a toddler. Dancing came to him as naturally as walking. Currently, Eddie is a student at Todd Beamer High School where he is a member of the award winning Todd Beamer Dance Team. The team has been invited to participate in the Universal Dance Association national competition in Orlando, Florida. As a member of the team, Eddie has performed for numerous school activities, participated in a video shoot, and performed in Summer Dance Heat at the Kirkland Performance Center.

Eddie is trained in hip hop, jazz, W African and Latin. After completing high school, Eddie plans to continue studying dance. He hopes to grow in his career as a professional dancer and plans to be a choreographer. He is honored to be a member of Impulse Dance Company.
